01About the Shared Account
Each Bokkara Premium or Bokkara Exec membership includes one shared account for a named person. The shared account is included with the main membership and is not a separate paid main membership. It allows the shared account holder to access the applicable member booking benefits while linked to an active main membership.
Bokkara Management LLC operates the membership. In these Terms, “Bokkara,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Bokkara Management LLC. The “main account holder” is the person who purchases and holds the main membership. The “shared account holder” is the named person included under that membership.
02Age and Eligibility
The main account holder must be at least 18 years old to apply for and purchase the main membership and must have legal capacity to enter the membership agreement. The shared account holder must be at least 17 years old.
A 17-year-old may hold a shared account and make a booking for themselves, subject to applicable legal-capacity requirements and the property’s check-in rules. A property may require its lead guest to be older than 17 or may require identification, consent, or other documentation. Check the property’s requirements before booking.
The shared account holder does not have to live at the same address as the main account holder. Each account must be registered in the correct holder’s name with accurate information.
03Setting Up Your Shared Account
The main account holder may designate one eligible person for the included shared account. The shared account holder has their own Bokkara account, login credentials, and membership number. The main and shared account holders should provide accurate contact details and keep them up to date.
The shared account holder must accept the applicable member terms when using Bokkara services. Being named on a shared account does not authorize either person to use the other person’s login or impersonate them. Contact support if you need assistance setting up or accessing the account.
04One Shared Account Per Membership
Each main membership includes one named shared account holder at a time. The main account holder may replace the shared account holder once per membership year. Contact Bokkara support to arrange the change. Bokkara may ask for reasonable information to identify the account holders and process the request securely.
We explain the effective date of a change and its effect on existing bookings, benefits, and any outstanding credits. A change does not automatically cancel a confirmed booking or remove rights that have already accrued. Any restriction on a balance or booking remains subject to its applicable terms and mandatory rights.
05Benefits Available to the Shared Account Holder
While the main membership is active and the shared account remains linked, the shared account holder can access eligible accommodation bookings through Bokkara, available member prices, staffed 24-hour support, and the applicable booking cancellation benefits.
If the main membership is Bokkara Exec, the shared account holder also receives Flight Disruption Assistance, including when travelling separately from the main account holder. Benefits are subject to the relevant membership, booking, rewards, and assistance terms. Availability and prices vary by property, date, and booking.
A shared account does not promise a particular room, property, price, or saving. A booking is confirmed only when Bokkara issues property confirmation.
06Booking Independently
The shared account holder may make an eligible Bokkara booking for themselves using their own account and membership number. They do not have to travel with the main account holder to use an eligible booking benefit.
Before requesting a booking, check the property, dates, accommodation, guest details, price, taxes, fees, check-in requirements, and cancellation conditions. A property may have its own lawful requirements concerning age, identification, occupancy, and payment of incidental charges.
A checkout receipt, payment authorization, or acknowledgement of a request is not itself property confirmation. Bokkara will provide a confirmation when the property confirms the reservation.
07Guests and Membership Numbers
Guests aged 17 and over need their own valid Bokkara membership number, including an eligible shared account number. Accompanying children aged 16 and under may be included on an eligible booking without a separate membership number.
Provide accurate names, ages, and other information needed to arrange the stay. Property occupancy limits and check-in requirements continue to apply. Membership does not guarantee that a selected room can accommodate every guest in a booking.
08Account Access and Privacy
Each account holder uses their own login and is responsible for keeping their credentials secure. Do not share passwords, allow unauthorized access, or use another person’s account without permission. Tell Bokkara promptly if you suspect unauthorized activity.
Linking accounts does not give either holder unrestricted access to the other’s private correspondence, personal information, payment details, or account credentials. It does not by itself authorize one holder to cancel or change the other holder’s booking. We may verify identity and authority before making an account or booking change.
Our Privacy Notice explains how Bokkara handles personal information. Do not send passwords, card security codes, or payment authentication codes to support.
09ClubNights
Bokkara Premium earns 500 ClubNights and Bokkara Exec earns 1,000 ClubNights for each qualifying night the main account holder actually stays under an eligible Bokkara booking. Qualifying rewards are credited to the main account holder. Additional rooms or guests do not multiply the reward.
ClubNights are separate from ClubCredit and have their own earning, redemption, cancellation, and expiry rules. ClubNights do not expire while membership remains active. If membership ends and is not renewed within 30 days, the remaining ClubNights expire, subject to mandatory rights and correction of a Bokkara error. The ClubNights Terms and Conditions explain the program in detail.
10Exec Annual Credit and ClubCredit
For an Exec membership, the annual credit is earned from the main account holder’s qualifying completed accommodation spending. The shared account holder’s spending does not add to the main account holder’s annual credit. The earning rate, cap, renewal requirements, issuance, and other conditions are explained in the ClubCredit Terms and Conditions.
Each account holder has their own ClubCredit Wallet. Eligible cancellation credits, promotional credits, and Flight Disruption Assistance reimbursements may be recorded in the applicable wallet under their relevant terms. Being linked does not give either account holder automatic access to the other’s wallet or authorization to use the other’s balance.
ClubCredit can pay the entire eligible booking checkout total, including accommodation, taxes, property fees, and Bokkara service charges. The available wallet balance must cover 100 percent of the total. ClubCredit cannot be combined with money or ClubNights for the same booking. If the available credit is insufficient, the whole booking must be paid with money.
11Cancelling a Booking
The person authorized to manage a booking may request cancellation through the designated cancellation channel or Bokkara’s staffed 24-hour support. A booking must be cancelled in full; selected rooms or nights cannot be cancelled separately. Provide the booking reference and keep the acknowledgement or evidence of your request.
For a booking paid with money, an eligible cancellation received at least 24 hours before the property’s confirmed check-in time returns 100 percent of the accommodation cost as ClubCredit. If received less than 24 hours before check-in, 50 percent of the accommodation cost is returned as ClubCredit. Taxes and fees are non-refundable under the ordinary member cancellation policy. An ordinary no-show is non-refundable.
For a ClubNights booking, a cancellation received at least 24 hours before check-in returns 50 percent of the redeemed ClubNights; a later cancellation returns none. Separately paid taxes and fees are non-refundable under the ordinary policy.
For a booking paid entirely with ClubCredit, a cancellation received at least 24 hours before check-in returns 100 percent of the ClubCredit payment to the wallet; a later cancellation is non-refundable under the ordinary policy.
Exactly 24 hours before check-in qualifies for the at-least-24-hour category. The deadline uses the property’s local confirmed check-in time. Separate rules apply where Bokkara or the property cannot supply a stay, to eligible Flight Disruption Assistance, and where law requires another remedy. The Cancellation Terms and Conditions explain these rules in detail.
12Exec Flight Disruption Assistance
Both the main Exec account holder and the linked shared account holder receive Flight Disruption Assistance, including when travelling separately. It applies to eligible stays booked through Bokkara and paid with money, ClubCredit, or ClubNights when a flight delay or cancellation causes the affected account holder to miss prepaid nights or lose a confirmed reservation.
If the property keeps the reservation but the affected holder arrives late, Bokkara reimburses the accommodation value of every prepaid night missed because of the disruption. If the property records a no-show and cancels the reservation, Bokkara reimburses the accommodation value of all prepaid nights lost. Taxes, property fees, Bokkara service charges, and other fees are excluded.
Reimbursement is issued as ClubCredit to the affected account holder’s wallet, whether that person is the main or shared account holder. For ClubNights-funded accommodation, the corresponding redeemed ClubNights are valued at USD $0.005 each. The reimbursement does not depend on the property refunding Bokkara.
Notify Bokkara immediately when you become aware of a delay or cancellation. We investigate, contact the property on your behalf, and help arrange an alternative when needed. Late notification may delay investigation and reimbursement, especially if the property has already recorded a no-show. Once investigation establishes eligibility and the amount, we issue the credit within two business days after completing it.
A replacement booking requires enough ClubCredit for the entire checkout total or payment entirely with money. If reimbursement has not yet been issued, the affected holder may need to use sufficient existing ClubCredit or pay with money. Split payment is not available.
13Main Membership Renewal and Cancellation
The main account holder manages payment and renewal of the main membership. Stopping automatic renewal ordinarily leaves the main membership active until the end of its paid term, and the linked shared account remains available during that active period unless it is otherwise removed or lawfully restricted.
The shared account is linked to the main membership and ordinarily ends when the main membership ends. Ending the main or shared membership does not automatically cancel a confirmed accommodation booking. Existing confirmed stays retain their accepted terms, and support and benefits attached to a confirmed stay continue through checkout if membership expires during that stay.
The effect of a lapse, removal, or closure on a particular booking, ClubNights, ClubCredit, or outstanding refund follows the applicable terms and mandatory law. Contact Bokkara if you need help understanding an existing booking or balance.
14Replacement Removal or Account Closure
The main account holder may request a shared account replacement as described in section 4. A shared account holder may contact Bokkara about leaving the shared arrangement or closing their own account. Bokkara will explain the effect on confirmed bookings, credits, and service access before processing the request where practicable.
Account closure does not automatically cancel an accommodation booking or remove a refund or other right owed to the holder. Closing a shared account does not itself cancel the main account holder’s membership or recurring subscription. Any transfer, deduction, or forfeiture of a balance requires a valid contractual and legal basis.
15Responsible Use and Account Protection
Use Bokkara lawfully and honestly. Do not submit false identity or booking information, use another person’s payment method without authorization, manipulate rewards, make fraudulent claims, or access another account without permission.
Bokkara may restrict an account where reasonably necessary to investigate credible fraud, unauthorized access, serious misuse, safety concerns, or legal restrictions. We use proportionate measures and provide an explanation and a way to address errors where lawful and practical. Restrictions do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16Support Complaints and Your Rights
Both membership plans include staffed 24-hour support. Contact us through the support channels on our website, in your member account, or in your booking confirmation. Include your name and relevant membership number or booking reference. For legal enquiries, email legal@bokkara.com.
We acknowledge complaints within two business days and provide an outcome or progress update within 10 business days. Contact 24-hour support promptly for urgent booking issues, cancellations, and flight disruptions.
Nothing in these Terms removes a mandatory consumer right, monetary refund, or other remedy required by applicable law. We may update these Terms for future activity with appropriate notice and any consent or other protection required by law. Changes do not automatically alter an accepted booking or remove accrued rights contrary to law.
